Study for an Ethereal Delight

Study for an Ethereal Delight (2012) was an interactive multimedia installation hung in the atrium of the ICICS Building at UBC.¬†Three LED matrices were constructed out of plastic rods, wood, and zinc tubing, and controlled by an Arduino-Processing-MAX/MSP interface. As viewers travelled underneath each matrix, they would scatter “birds” represented by the LEDs.
